LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHER ELECTED TO PHOTOGRAPHIC BOARD
June 28. 2010: Burton, Ohio professional photographer and studio owner, John Hoffart, was unanimously elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Society of Northern Ohio Professional Photographers (SONOPP).
Mr. Hoffart was asked to run for office because of his extensive experience in the field of photography.
SONOPP began under the name of the Cleveland Society of Professional Photographers in the year 1949. At that time, local photographers wanted to form a professional photographic association to allow photographers to network with each other, to share tips and experiences, to train new photographers in the profession, and to help consumers in selecting the right photographer for their needs.
